In Fr. General’s visit to the Philippines this month, he spoke about the importance of our shared mission in Christ. He repeatedly stressed that it is a common mission wherein lay partners, benefactors, and Jesuits are all collaborators. It is a mission given to us through the instrumentality of the Society of Jesus for the service of our sisters and brothers, especially those in the margins. Without your participation, it is impossible for us to make any headway in this mission. It is with deep gratitude, therefore, that we acknowledge your generosity and commitment in enabling us to continue to share the joy of the Gospel to those we are called to serve.
May the Child Jesus who deigned to share in our humanity grant us the grace of humility and joy in serving his people! May he bless you and your loved ones in this season of joy and hope!
