This is to inform you that FR. CATALINO G. AREVALO, S.J., died very early this morning, January 18, in the Jesuit Health and Wellness Center, Loyola Heights, Q.C. Fr. Revs, 97, had been suffering from anemia and was in decline since discharge from the hospital earlier this month. He entered the Society in 1941 and was ordained to the presbyterate in 1954.
The wake will begin this evening in the Oratory of St. Ignatius, Loyola House of Studies, Loyola Heights, Q.C. Daily wake Masses at 8 p.m. The funeral Mass is scheduled at 2 p.m. on Sunday, 22 January, in Ateneo de Manila University’s Church of the Gesù. Interment follows in the Province Cemetery at Sacred Heart Novitiate. Kindly observe Covid protocol (mask and distancing) throughout.
