The Simbahang Lingkod ng Bayan (The Socio-Political Apostolate of the Society of Jesus in the Philippines) launches Task Force Noah: Typhoon Lando Disaster Response to help communities in Aurora and Nueva Ecija that were heavily affected by Typhoon Lando (international name Koppu) that recently ravaged Luzon and Metro Manila.
According to the Social Action Center of the Prelature of Infanta, the Province of Aurora is now under the State of Calamity with:
8,609 FAMILIES AFFECTED
40,701 PERSONS AFECTED
977 DAMAGED HOUSES
5,519 PARTIALLY DAMAGED HOUSE
We are currently accepting monetary donations for relief operations and recovery projects for the target communities.
